Shipping and Return Policies

  • Orders placed before 4:00pm (CST) will generally be shipped in 1-3 business days. Any delay in shipping will be communicated to you via the e-mail address provided at checkout OR via text if number is provided. Orders are shipped via United States Postal Service, either First Class or Priority Mail, depending on the shipping weight of the order, which is calculated at checkout. Delivery is generally within 2-3 business days, depending on your location.
  • ONLY TULSA AREA customers may use the Local Pickup option at checkout, and MUST initiate pickup arrangements by contacting us at The Modest Poppy does not deliver products purchased locally. 
  • You must contact us at within 7 days of your purchase to request a return authorization. Please include the reason for returning your item.
  • Items returned prior to authorization will NOT be processed. 
  • Your item(s) must be in its original unused condition to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect. The item(s) must be unworn and include all original tags and packaging. 
  • The customer is responsible for shipping costs to return an item with two exceptions:
    • If an item is defective or damaged upon arrival, The Modest Poppy will pay the shipping costs to return the item.
    • If an item is delivered in error, The Modest Poppy will pay the shipping costs to return the item. 
  • If return/exchange is approved, the next steps will be emailed to you with the appropriate address.

  • Once the approved item(s) have been received, a store credit will be issued. A refund will ONLY be issued in the event the item is defective. Please allow 1-3 business days for return/credit to be processed.

  • PLEASE NOTE: We must receive your return/exchange within 7 business days of your confirmation to return. If returns/exchanges are received outside of that timeframe, a 15% re-stocking fee will be issued.


  • In lieu of an exchange, a store credit will be issued. Stock of exchange items cannot be guaranteed and items cannot be held.

Sale Item Policy

  • Any and all sale items are not eligible for returns/exchanges. They are final sale items - NO EXCEPTIONS.
