Shipping and Return Policies

Shipping
  • Orders placed before 4:00pm (CST) will generally be shipped in 1-3 business days. Any delay in shipping will be communicated to you via the e-mail address provided at checkout OR via text if number is provided. Orders are shipped via United States Postal Service, either First Class or Priority Mail, depending on the shipping weight of the order, which is calculated at checkout. Delivery is generally within 2-3 business days, depending on your location.
  • Local customers may choose the Local Pickup option at checkout and must arrange pickup by contacting us at orders@themodestpoppy.com. The Modest Poppy does not deliver products purchased locally. 
Returns
  • You must contact us at returns@themodestpoppy.com within 14 days of your purchase to request a return authorization. Please include the reason for returning your item.
  • Items returned prior to authorization will not be processed. 
  • Your item(s) must be in its original unused condition to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect. The item(s) must be unworn and include all original tags and packaging. 
  • The customer is responsible for shipping costs to return an item with two exceptions:
    • If an item is defective or damaged upon arrival, The Modest Poppy will pay the shipping costs to return the item.
    • If an item is delivered in error, The Modest Poppy will pay the shipping costs to return the item. 
Refunds (if applicable)
  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
  • If your return is not received within 5 business days from the day you received your response from our returns team- you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Only a store credit will be allowed at this point. No exceptions.
Exchanges
  • Exchanges may be made for a different size of the same item or in the case of a defective item, provided we have the alternate item in stock. The item must be unworn and include all original tags and packaging. 
  • You must contact us at returns@themodestpoppy.com within 14 days of your purchase to request an exchange authorization. Please include the reason for exchanging your item.

Sale Item Policy

  • Any and all sale items are not eligible for returns/exchanges. They are final sale items.
